Amity is an internationally-known calligrapher and instructor from Missoula, Montana. She earned a BFA degree from the University of Tulsa (Oklahoma) with an emphasis in ceramics, and completed an MFA degree in ceramics from the University of Montana. Since 2009, Amity has spent nearly every morning from 3:00am – 6:00am honing her calligraphy skills and creating art. Attending conferences, private tutorials, Cheerio Calligraphy Retreats in North Carolina to study with world-renowned artists continues to fuel her passion for the letter arts.
