Bea is a lettering artist and illustrator from Spain, but also a civil engineer who works in a hydraulics lab. She loves her daytime job, but flood risk assessment leaves little room for her imagination to run free. Three years ago, she came upon a brush lettering video on Instagram, and she found it mesmerizing. Shortly after, she decided to start her own account, @bealettering, to join the amazing community she had just discovered. Bea likes things arranged by colours, sarcasm and breakfasts, not necessarily in that order. And, of course, adding little flowers and leaves to, basically, everything. She collaborates with art supply brands such as Pentel, Royal Talens and Arteza, creating tutorials and showing pros and cons of brushes, brush pens, watercolors and inks. You’ll also be able to see her work featured in some cool projects next October, like Rebecca Cahill’s new book, Brush Lettering.
