JP Panter is a professional artist with a degree from Western Michigan University (BFA Painting, special emphasis on watercolor) who attended the acclaimed Academy of Art University (MFA for Illustration, editorial work). She has had a business license in Napa since 2005, and is a member of local and nationally recognized calligraphy guilds, and is a past member of the California Watercolor Association. As a member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, her current illustration interests center around the marine life of the Pacific Ocean. JP runs a small nature journaling group in Napa Valley which is an offshoot of the larger Nature Journal Club of the San Francisco Bay Area. jpantercalligraphy.com
