Rachel Tieken is an artist and calligrapher who works primarily in the events industry, creating stunning paper goods and details for weddings, parties, and corporate events. Rachel highly values the hand-made parts of the design process: the intricate painting, calligraphy, and drawings. Combining this original artwork with intentional details, she gives each event and project a unique and unforgettable identity. Rachel’s work has been featured in print and online in a variety of publications including Martha Stewart, Wedding Sparrow, and Style Me Pretty.

Rachel also takes on smaller projects including painted wine bottles, engraved and painted fragrance bottles, painted textiles, and occasional commissioned paintings. Her life-long love of creating, background in fine art painting and drawing, and love of visual storytelling fuels each project.

Rachel resides in Shiner, Texas (yes, where they make the beer) with her husband, four little boys, and two standard poodles (Nick and Nora). She finds moments of peace and rest in watering her garden and ever-growing collection of plants.
