Sally King McBride
Sally King McBride is a watercolor artist and Founder of The Letter Nest. Following over a decade working at The Met, Sally traded her curatorial aspirations for entrepreneurship, launching The Letter in 2019 with an aim to educate and delight through the connection of letter and image. Her 15 Alphabet themes range from Woodland to Paris, Dessert to Flowers, Animals to Construction—each one telling a unique story, and bringing joy and beauty to children and their families.
Sally has M.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. from Brown, both in Art History. She is a 2021 Tory Burch Foundation Fellow, and a frequent collaborator with other women-owned businesses. The Letter Nest has been featured in Vogue, Goop, Glamour, House Beautiful, Architectural Digest, and others. Sally lives and works in New York City with her husband, two young sons, and a closet full of artwork.
