Tania Hearn
Tania Hearn is a Gold Coast-based graphic designer, chalk artist, signage designer and watercolor lettering teacher. Her earliest memories of lettering revolve around the emotions experienced when receiving handwritten letters from her grandmother. She attended Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art for a graphic design degree. There she met typographers, web designers, motion graphics students and other hand lettering artists who shared the same passion. After attending the 2015 Typism Conference, Tania became immersed in as many design opportunities as possible, such as workshops, group projects and murals. Calligraphy gave her the foundation to understand lettering formations and how to create new ones. She is currently concentrating on vectoring and animating customized lettering.
