Jean Wilson is a painting major and graphic designer from the dark ages before desktop publishing, Jean put in her hours with brushes and hand lettering layouts in the 70s. She stumbled into the world of calligraphy in the 90s and studied with many rock stars of calligraphy. Jean taught fine art for 20 years at the art museum in Des Moines, Iowa. She has posted a new envelope daily on her blog since Feb 17, 2010. Jean’s niche is fun, fanciful, and stress-free lettering based on traditional lettering styles as well as fonts.
