Drawing painting and calligraphy have been passions of Kathryn for a long as she can remember. Growing up in the Boston area she had an early exposure to fine art and history, and earned Bachelor and Master’s degrees from the University of Michigan with a major in studio art and education. Since moving to the Seattle area, Kathryn has continued her professional life with teaching at a local college and freelance work in the calligraphic arts. Her artistic growth has been furthered by participation in juried art shows as well as publication in creative art related journals and books.
