MONICA WINTERS, a teacher of Art History, Art and English, retired after 30 years to expand her artistic endeavors. She first earned a Masters Degree in Art History, and then joined a local calligraphy guild to see what more she could learn about writing styles. Monica had no idea there was so much to learn and create! The COVID years that followed her retirement found her holed up in her studio with ZOOM classes learning from calligraphers from all over the world. She continues to explore and create in her travels, workshops, and art classes and to meld her love of the written word and artistic creating.
