Anna Chiara Valentini was born in Paris and moved to Rome, where she studied and trained as an architect. She discovered, by chance, quilling art, a simple technique that involves the placement of carefully cut and bent strips of paper to make three-dimensional paper artworks. Passionate about calligraphy and lettering she decided to reinterpret the alphabet letters from her point of view.
